Zoo

Stanley went to the zoo today with his baby friends from our Moms' (& Dads') Group. The last time he went, he was 6-months old. That time, he didn't like the zoo, but this time, he LOVED it! Stanley particularly liked the swimming otters and the salmon.

It's finally summer!

It was actually 81 degrees today! Stanley ate lunch and dinner outside, went for a walk, and played in the yard.

Lunch Alfresco

We actually had some sun and warmth today! Stanley and I took advantage of it and ate our lunch outside.

Father's Day

Stanley spent a fun day with his daddy on Sunday for Father's Day. He made his daddy two presents: a garden stepping stone with his footprints and a picture he colored himself. Matt spent most of the day grilling some delicious smoked ribs that turned out great! Stanley loves his daddy!

9-Month Doctor Visit

Stanley went to the doctor yesterday for his 9-month check-up. He's growing and growing! His weight is 20 lbs. 6 oz., and his height is 29 1/4 in. Unfortunately, he's had a phlegmy cough for about a week now, but the doctor said it's just a cold. Hopefully it goes away soon!

Stanley's New Tricks

Stanley has learned some new skills in the past week. He is solidly crawling on hands and knees, sitting up on his own from crawling, and pulling himself up to standing. He's been a busy boy!

This is the first time Stanley pulled himself up in his crib. We quickly lowered his crib way down after this.

Stanley Jams on the Organ

Stanley got his first try at playing the organ. What a natural!

Happy 9-Month Birthday, Stanley!

StanMan is 9-months old today! To quote our favorite book (Boy of Mine): "Bouncy bundle of bubbly joy, I'm so glad that you're my boy!"

Stanley dressed up in his X-Fidos Flyball gear and hung out with Glory today. (Trying to get a picture of the dog and the baby without one of them moving out of the picture was quite the feat!)
