Tennessee

It was Stanley's Grandma and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary, so the whole Wooten clan gathered in Tennessee to celebrate. This is the first time the whole Wooten family has been together in probably 16 years. Stanley met his Grandparents for the first time, along with his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stanley definitely enjoyed having so many people pay attention to him. He clapped every time his Grandpa came into the room and squealed every time he saw his cousins. So many special memories were made on this trip!

Stanley's first airplane ride! He was such a good boy. His favorite part was having such a large audience of people to smile at.

John made these beautiful panels for the anniversary gift.

Stanley's first time swimming in a pool. He's with his Aunt Susan, who has been a swim instructor. She got him kicking and splashing in no time!

Swimming with Stanley was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip.

We had an amazing dinner at Evin's Mill. What a beautiful place!

Stanley loves his Uncle John!

Uncle Mike and Aunt Stephenie

At dinner, we were presented with beautiful glass statues to commemorate the occasion. Susan is opening her's here, and everyone is having a great time being together.

Stanley got tired out part way through the dinner and slept in a portable crib in the restaurant.

Stanley had so much fun with Grandma!

Aunt Susan, Grandma, and Cousin Caleb blew bubbles for Stanley.

Stanley's Aunt Kathy and Aunt Stephenie were so fun to hang out with. This is a rare moment with Stephenie isn't telling some kind of hilarious story. (We had to get her to stop talking for the picture. Ha ha!)

One of Stanley's favorite parts of the trip was meeting his cousins, Caleb (10) and Ian (14). He has so much fun playing with them. Every time either one of them came in the room he smiled and screamed. They were best buddies.

We went to a feed store/antique store in Woodbury, Tennessee.

Three generations of Wootens.

Stanley with Grandpa in his workshop. He makes glass art and Shaker boxes. We went to the local art center where they sell his work. What a wonderfully talented Grandpa Stanley has!

Stanley's Grandparents live on 4 acres of wooded land in Tennessee. It is so beautiful!

Playing in the airport while we wait for our plane to leave in Denver.

Back in Oregon!

Baby Pool Party

Stanley had a pool party with all his baby friends today. At first he was a little unsure of it, but by the end he was splashing away!

Yay! TWO rubber duckies!

Which duck should I eat first?!

Yum!

World Cup

Thanks to Aunt Kathy, Stanley did his part to help Spain win the World Cup!

Cheesing it up.

Day at the Park

Even though it was 92 degrees, we braved the heat and met with our Mama-Baby Group for some fun at Laurelhurst Park.

Stanley loves to swing.

Blues Fest

We went to the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival today. It was a beautiful day for outdoor music--Stanley's first music festival!

Having fun!

Stanley and Mama in front of the Hawthorne Bridge.

Sitting in the lawn, relaxing and listening to some music.

So tired after all the excitement.
