Stanley started combining two words last week. One of the first times he did it, he said, "Big truck." He's crazy about trucks! He even has a little yellow truck that he calls his "baby truck," and he takes it everywhere with him. So, we went to Dozer Days today to see some real, big trucks! They had a lot of diggers, dump trucks, fire trucks, and more on display for kids to look at. There were also trucks that kids could actually drive along with an operator! Although, we're going to wait until next year until Stanley attempts that. He also got a toy hard hat and collected stickers from different booths to decorate it. There were sand boxes with Tonka trucks that the kids could play with too. What a fun day!
At first, Stanley just wanted to stick with his mama, but he warmed up by the end.
