We had a really nice Christmas this year! It was warm and dry compared to our white Christmas last year, but we really enjoyed our family time together.
On Christmas Eve, we went to see the new The Grinch cartoon at The Liberty Theater, our local historic theater, and we played at the park at the kids' school. That evening we put out milk and cookies for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer. The kids were so excited when going to bed.

Stanley came into our bedroom at 6:00, telling us that he'd already been awake for 3 hours! He said he'd been reading books and playing Legos...and started feeling lonely so he came to get us. Matt & I got up, make coffee, put on Christmas music...Lisa was still sleeping. So finally Stanley went in and woke her up, so we could start opening presents.
Santa brought Stanley a bike and a drone. He brought Lisa a Little Live Pet cat, a polaroid-type camera, and a scooter.

We had our homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast and had fun playing with all the new toys all day. We ate a delicious dinner of lamb, Brussels sprouts, and mashed potatoes. Merry Christmas!
