We had a fun day at the zoo last week. We took our first ride on the zoo train, and we also watched the elephants swim!

4th of July

Fourth of July is a favorite around here. Our neighbors always have crazy amounts of fireworks, and we contribute a few ourselves. It's so nice to be able to stay home and still get a great fireworks show!

Trip to the Coast

We went to Astoria, Oregon for the day. It's a beautiful town on the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean. There is a lot of history in this town, and we spent the day at museums and parks. What a great day!

Summer Fun!

We've been having a lot of fun this summer! Lots of outings and activities! Here are some highlights:

Chuck E. Cheese
To celebrate the end of school, I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese to play games. Stanley likes to play the Terminator and car racing game, and Lisa likes to ride the little rides and play the kick the soccer ball game.

Lego Club
We went to Lego Club at the library. Even though we have so many Legos at home, building with new Legos is always fun, too!

First Friday
We went to First Friday in downtown Camas. There were activities set up on the sidewalks and in the different stores. Lisa got blue, sparkly tinsel put in her hair, and both kids got little airbrush tattoos.

Camas Car Show
Every year, downtown Camas shuts down the streets and has a car show. We walked around the town and looked at so many fun cars.
