Blueberry Picking

Stanley and I went blueberry picking today with Olin and Jackie. Stanley wanted to eat all the blueberries instead of taking them home! We ate lunch at the farm, and then the boys played in the grass. What a great day!

Mom's Group First Birthday Party

Stanley and I started attending the New Mom's Group at the hospital when Stanley was only 3-weeks old. Stanley graduated from the hospital group at 6 months, and some of us formed our own group and began meeting at each other's houses and at parks. After all this time, our babies are turning one year old! To celebrate, we had a bbq picnic and party at a local park. The babies played in the dirt, ate some food (including cupcakes), and the parents had fun watching it all. What a fast, wonderful, exciting first year it's been!

Children's Museum

We met our friends, Jamie and Kirby (20 months old), at the Children's Museum today. This was our first visit since Stanley was a pro at pulling up and cruising around. He loved looking at the fish and pounding on clay. Each time we go, it gets more and more fun. When he's walking, there will be a lot of new places to discover in the museum. So fun!

Busy Day

Stanley had a big day, and no pictures to show for it! He went swimming with his friend Olin at a local community center pool. He was splashing and laughing and pointing at all the life guards. He took a three hour nap afterwards! I had a dentist appointment, so my friend Jenna came over to babysit. He was still sleeping when I left, so Jenna went in his room when he woke up. He didn't cry at all! He ate some peaches and cottage cheese with his Auntie Jenna and played with toys. I'm so proud of my big boy!

The Big Latch On

Stanley and I went to Milagros to be a part of Portland's attempt to break the world record for the most people breastfeeding at one time. At our location there was 79 mamas feeding their babies. I don't know if we broke the record, but it was fun to be a part of it anyway!

Tryon Creek State Park

Stanley and I hiked at Tryon Creek yesterday. Stanley loves to be outside. He's pointing at everything these days, so he had so much fun showing me all the trees, people walking their dogs, and everything else he could see.

Throwing everything out...

When I was cooking Stanley's breakfast this morning, he was playing in his Pack 'N Play. When I turned around, I saw that he had thrown all of his toys out and on to the floor. Then I noticed, he also threw his pants out too!
