Someone was supposed to be asleep...

...but instead she was coloring herself.

Fourth of July

We had a fun family day together celebrating the Fourth of July. Matt smoked a pork roast on the grill, Stanley and I went for a hike, we made s'mores, and of course we watched fire works!

Rock Museum

We visited a local museum of rocks and minerals. Before we went, we read many books about rocks and geologists, so the kids were really excited to go. They both also have their own rock collections. It was fun to see how excited they were to look at rocks!

Lake Hike

Just a couple of good pictures for a quick trip to one of the local lakes...

Swim classes

Lisa finished up her first session of swim classes at the indoor pool. She started going under water, and she was really enthusiastic about it. Unfortunately, it also made her throw up in the pool on her last day of class. She was totally fine afterwards, so I know it was just the amount of pool water she probably ingested. That was pretty embarrassing, though, as you can imagine.

Cute little swimmer

Going under

The kids are just finishing up their next session of swim classes at the outdoor pool that is open for the summer. Stanley is working on his strokes, and Lisa is working on getting more comfortable going under water and floating. They both love the water!

Lisa is so excited to wear her own swim cap and goggles!
