Two-Wheel Riding!

Stanley has ridden a balance bike since he was two. When he was four, we got him a training wheel bike. The other day, I tried taking his training wheels off to practice riding without them. I steadied Stanley and he started pedaling. I let, go and he was off! Stanley could instantly ride his 2-wheel bike!

First time riding a 2-wheel pedal bike!

Spring Break Swim Class

Stanley took a swim class during spring break. He has really become more comfortable in the water, and he's excited to float and put his face in the water.

Stanley--The Reader!

As a homework assignment for Stanley's preschool, he had to bring in his favorite book and say why it was his favorite. To my surprise, he picked Hop On Pop by Dr. Seuss, and his reason it was his favorite was because he felt like he could read it. I was so excited to hear that he had such an interest in reading. Even though his "reading" is from memorizing the book, this is the first important step in actually reading. Stanley's teacher captured a great moment of Stanley and his friend reading Hop On Pop together. And he also read a few pages to the class.

Classic Lisa Crinkle-Nose

I wanted to take a picture of her standing in her
crib, but she didn't want to wait for me to get
the camera. She just wanted OUT!

10-Months Old

Lisa is 10-months old today! She started pulling up to standing this month. She also started clapping and drinking from a sippy-cup. She's been drooling like crazy, so we think she's getting a few more teeth (she has 6).

Some things that make Lisa laugh: her daddy tickling her toes, the wind blowing on her face, the dog licking her, her brother doing a funny dance, or seeing her mama when it's time to nurse. She has the sweetest giggle ever!

Lisa loves to play with her brother's toy tools, fire trucks, and drums. She also likes blocks, anything that makes a sound when you shake it, and music. She even loves to dance!

Can you believe it's only two more months until Lisa's first birthday!?

Class Play

Stanley's preschool class performed a play last night. The kids created their own characters, wrote the play, helped create the costumes, created the scenery, and performed the play. Stanley's character he came up with was Friendy the Elephant. Friendy stomps his feet and shoots water out of his trunk. I am so proud of my little boy!
