Model Train Show

We went to a model train show today called, The World's Greatest Hobby on Tour. They had over 100 trains on display and a giant Thomas the Train that kids could ride on.

Monster Jam

Stanley went to Monster Jam a few weeks ago with his daddy, daddy's friend Matt, and Matt's son Louie. He really liked watching the trucks jump and race!

Roller Skating

Stanley went roller skating for the first time today at Oaks Park Roller Rink. They have preschool skate where it is only kids under 5 years old, they get milk and cookies, and they get to skate with Chipper. Stanley was so excited to skate, and he did great! He said he wanted to teach his daddy how to skate, and these were his directions, "First you put on your skates. Then you skate."

Kindermusik

Stanley took a Kindermusik class and loved it! He is a natural musician (gets it all from his dad and uncles). He really wanted to play a tuba or saxophone, but he settled for some bells, shakers, rhythm sticks, and triangles instead. When we had the "family jam" he was the only kid singing out at the top of his lungs. Since he loves music so much, I signed him up for a Music Together class that starts in April and lasts for 10 weeks.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Stanley had a great Valentine's Day! He woke up to a surprise of a Dr. Seuss book from daddy and a police motorcycle toy from mommy. He made valentines for his friends. He had a heart-shaped pizza and heart-shaped jello for dinner. It was a day full of love with my little Valentine!

Tumble Bugs

Stanley has been taking a tumbling and dance class called Tumble Bugs for the last 6 weeks. He has been learning a lot of new skills!

Chinese New Year

We went to the Chinese Garden to celebrate Chinese New Year. Since it's the year of the dragon, they hid stuffed dragons all around the gardens to find. They also had fun activities, music, and dancing. Happy Chinese New Year!
