Stanley's basketball season ended yesterday, and there were so many memorable moments. Stanley's skills really improved. He got more confident on the court, and even made some buckets! He excels at defense and makes great passes.
Stanley's team, The Camas Dynamite Blazers, got the opportunity to play on Trailblazers court before the professional game. It was definitely a highlight! The kids got to enter the court through the tunnel, high-fiving fans and being greeted by cheers from the crowd. It was a memorable experience.
After the last game, their coach, Maco (who is the head coach of the George Fox University men's basketball team) had a closing ceremony for the team. The kids each got a certificate, and he said a few words about each player.
I really enjoyed watching Stanley play every Saturday, and I'm a little sad the season is over! It was a good one!
