Stanley's Kindergarten Orientation

Stanley will be starting kindergarten in the Fall. His school held a kindergarten orientation to help parents and kids get acquainted with the school. Stanley went with the other kids to the classrooms with teachers. They made a craft, read a story, and sang songs. The parents listened to information from the principal. And afterwards, we got to take a bus ride!

After the orientation, Matt and I took Stanley out to dinner to celebrate!

Lisa's 2nd Birthday

After a little blog break, I thought Lisa's 2nd birthday was the perfect time to make a comeback!

On Lisa's birthday, she woke up to find a bunch of presents for her! She was really excited about presents this year.

Later, we went to story time at the library. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to her. (She loves those sun glasses and wears them all the time.)

After we picked up Stanley from school we had a picnic at the lake with some friends.

Lisa got to pick what we had for dinner (pizza), and of course she got to have some cake!

On the weekend, we had a Care Bears themed party with all her little friends.

Watching Lisa grow over the past two years has been such a treat! She is so loving and caring, and has such a goofy side. She loves to make her brother laugh and also give him lots of hugs. She likes to play with dolls, animals, cars, and dress up cloths. She is such a fun little girl, and I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
