I have the digital files for these pictures, so if you want the files or prints, let me know!

Popsicle Time
We've been having some really hot weather here, so Stanley had his best friend Lucy over to play in the little baby pool and sprinkler. Of course, we also had to have popsicles!
Stanley's Swimming Lessons
Stanley has been taking swim lessons for about 6 months. He has been progressing so fast! When he started, he wouldn't even put his face in the water. Now he can float, swim on his front and back, and jump in from the side of the pool. He really wants to be on the swim team, so he's super-motivated and works hard.

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to Matt! He works so hard for our family without ever complaining. He always tries to make my life easier, whether its doing the dishes every night or taking over bedtimes on Wednesday nights so I can go to Zumba. He takes Stan to car shows and reads Lisa books every night. We couldn't ask for a better daddy or husband!

Pictures
We had pictures taken of the family at a beautiful lake near our house, Fallen Leaf Lake. It is one of our favorite places to visit, so it was a very meaningful place to have our pictures taken. The kids did great, so I think we should have some good ones! The photographer said we should have all the pictures in a few weeks, but she sent a few sneak peeks. We will be getting digital files, so we can print as many as we want for whoever wants them! I'll share all of them when we get them.

Walk on the Columbia River
We are really liking where we live now. There are so many beautiful nature areas near our house. Last night we went for a walk on the Columbia River after dinner. It was a gorgeous night!
Lego Club
Every month, the library hosts a Lego Club for kids. They set out big tubs of Legos and give the kids a challenge of something to build. They also have a raffle at the end for a few prizes (which we haven't won yet). Both Lisa and Stanley have fun at Lego Club! They don't always choose to participate in the challenge, which is optional, but they always end up creating something interesting! This month, the challenge was to build a space ship, which was perfect, because that's what Stanley wanted to build that day anyway. Lisa built a cool pirate. This is just one of the fun things that our local library offers. We are at the library a lot!

Lauren's Past Students
Usually this blog is focused on the kids, but I had to post about something special that happened to me (Lauren). One of my past groups of kindergarteners are off to high school! Their parents invited me to a picnic to celebrate their accomplishment. It was so fun to see how much these kids have grown!

Strawberry Picking
We went to a local farm to pick strawberries today. They are Hood Strawberries--so sweet! We ended up with 3 pounds. We would've had more, if Stanley would've put as many in his bucket as he did in his mouth!
Camtown Youth Festival
Our cute little town had a festival just for kids! It was at a local park, and there were games, bouncy houses, petting zoo, performances, and a kid-run flea market. Everything was free...and fun!

Stanley Graduates Preschool
Today was a big day! Stanley graduated from preschool today! His class had a graduation ceremony. They wore caps and gowns, sang songs, and received diplomas. We are so proud of Stanley. His teachers said great things about him this year, and he's learned so much. He's starting to read, do addition and subtraction, and really enjoy drawing. Next year he's on to kindergarten!
