Stanley tried out his trick-riding at the local indoor bike park. The bike park has wooden ramps, obstacles, hills, and track. He was a little scared at first, especially when we watched a video on their website where someone was doing a flip. But once he was comfortable, he got better and better at riding the beginner track. Stanley can't wait to go back!

Mt. Tabor
It was a windy, cold morning, but sunny! We met friends at Mt. Tabor for a nature walk and playground fun. Little sweet Ella, who I held as a 3-week-old, turned 6 (!) this month. We spent some quality time with her, brought her presents, and got some delicious hot chocolate to celebrate with her. What a beautiful way to recognize such a beautiful girl!

Zoo
We're having nice weather for January! We took the opportunity to visit the zoo. Stanley's favorite animal to see is always the naked mole rats. He likes to see what they have to eat: corn, broccoli, beans, parsnips, etc. We also got to see the three baby lion cubs. They were out with their mommy lion and super-cute!

8-Months Old
Lisa is 8-months old! I can't believe how big she's getting!
This has been such a big month for Lisa. First, she got her top two teeth (which brought quite a few sleepless nights). Then, she got her first cold, complete with snotty nose and cough. Her sickness didn't keep her down! While she was sick, she started saying "Ba ba" and "Ma ma." She also, started getting up on her hands and knees. She wants to crawl so bad! She gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. She tries to push off, but ends up scooting herself backwards. I'm sure with her persistence she will be crawling in no time!
