Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Yesterday we colored Easter eggs. The set came with stickers that the kids got to make silly faces on their eggs. They had fun with that!

Stanley was up bright and early this morning looking for his Easter basket. He excited to see that the Easter bunny brought him a Lego set and Pokemon cards!

Poor little Lisa was sick all night with a fever and cough, so she woke up a few minutes later than Stan. But once she was up, she was happy to see her basket too. She got a Blaze truck, a new hat, and a Paw Patrol book and ball.

The Easter bunny also hid eggs around the house filled with stickers and candy. We finished the morning with Easter bunny pancakes and bacon for breakfast. They even got to have a few jelly beans with their meal.

Stanley's Best Buddy

Stanley met a friend in his kindergarten class, Jarek, who has quickly become his best buddy. On Friday it was "Twin Day," so Jarek and Stanley wore matching Minion shirts. Luckily I was subbing at Stan's school that day, so I could get a picture.

Two little geniuses

This weekend it was Jarek's birthday party. He loves dinosaurs, so his mom organized many dinosaur-themed games for the kids to play. Stanley had so much fun!

My Birthday!

It was my birthday a few days ago, and I had the best day! I went for a hike with Lisa, got a massage, enjoyed some delicious Pip's donuts, and had decadent pizza for dinner. Thanks to everyone who remembered my day. I really appreciated the cards and gifts. It made me feel very special! Here's to another fun trip around the sun!

Zoo

We went to the zoo today! Stanley was looking forward to seeing the lions and the naked mole rats. Lisa wanted to see the giraffes and the polar bears. I was excited to see the new elephant enclosure.

The animals were all out enjoying the beautiful day! We got to see so many animals playing and being active. It was a great day at the zoo!

We were right by the gates when they were letting the elephants out.

There's the baby elephant!

St. Patrick's Day Party

Our MOMS Club organized a St. Patrick's Day party for the kids. There was cookie decorating, crafts, snacks, bubbles, and balloons!

Reading to Cooper Part II

Stanley went to read to Cooper at the library again. This time he read the entire book, Go, Dog, Go! He is really growing in his reading skills! Lisa came this time, and she loved petting Cooper, too.

Hiking

It was a beautiful day, so we went for a hike at our local lake.

Birthday Party

Lisa went to her friend Natalie's birthday party. It was at Home Depot! They built little wooden banks...but Lisa wanted her's to be a dog house for her Paw Patrol Pups. It was a cute party!

Reading to Cooper

At Stanley's preschool last year, there was a therapy dog, Cooper, who spent every Monday with the kids. He also goes to the library so kids can practice reading to him. Stanley got to read to Cooper the other day, and was so excited to see him again! Although, Stanley said he wasn't very interested in the story he was reading to him.

Happy 40th Birthday, Matt!

Matt celebrated his 40th birthday! Here are some highlights:
